Note hallelujahs rare in the N.T.Reserved for Babylon's destruction, concluding in 1 for the Lord our God, related to the marraige supper of the Lamb. The false corrupt woman removed to make way for the Lamb's wife.

Babylon

The great harlot sits upon the scarlet beast, full of names and blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. She was clothed in purple and scarlet etc and on her forehead is written, Mystery, great Babylon. See Gen 11:9 and other links.

She sits on many waters. This harlot ( the religious aspect) is detroyed in Rev. 17:16, as well as in Ch. 18 (the commecial aspect).

Beast and False Prophet

All that dwell on the earth do the beast homage, every one whose names had not been written in the book of life of the slain Lamb. See links below.
