Translation, (Rapture) and Ascension

The catching up of both Enoch and Elijah provide a pattern for the resurrection, translation and catching up (Rapture) of the saints in the N.T. The key scripture however that puts it all together is 1 Thess.4:13-19.

Behold a door opened in heaven. John was transported to see the things that must take place after these things. It also implies translation of believers. See links in Gen 5:24.
