The angel has a golden reed that he might measure the city, and its gates, and its wall. the city is four-square 12,000 stadia; the length and breadth and height are equal (about 1,380 to 1.400 miles each way). Its wall was 144 cubits high. See links belo

A certain man clothed in linen. Perhaps one like a son of man in Ezekiel 40:3. Daniel has a similar experience as John in Rev.1:12-20. See many references in Ezekiel 40:3. Note personal touch of this remarkable personage in Dan.10:10 and Rev.1:17.
